Greetings foolish mortals and thank Bill it's Friday.  The end of the week is here and it's time to enjoy the weekend and do what we do best.  There's a midsummer Halloween event going on here so I may go visit that.  Whatever I do, it's good to be living life.  Never take anything or anyone for granted.

July 22nd - 5 years

July 22, 2016
It's been 5 years since I found out you left. It's been longer since I last saw you. On days like today, I reflect back on many things you said to me. I listen to your stories over and over and I relish the time I did have with you. You made love easy to feel, easy to give and easy to share. Your warmth kept the cold away and your heart kept us all inside. You are missed very much and loved very much more. I love and miss you Grandma.

July 20th - Happy Hump Day

Greetings foolish mortals and happy hump day.  The week is now on the downslope so we got that workin for us...which is nice.

Some new pics were posted to two new pages under Travels with Pictures.  Tombstone, the town too tough to die is added along with the Alamo.  Two places I had been wanting to see for a long time and I finally saw them this past October.  Was amazing and fascinating.

July 17th - Downhill now in July

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are on another end to another weekend.  I sure do wish the weekends were longer but unfortunately, we work too hard and don't enjoy our lives enough.  We're so uptight with our work week and believe 40 plus hours is the way we have to go to improve things.  However, Europe doesn't do it that way.  In fact, many countries around the world get by and have a better life with working less than 40 hours a week.  Maybe one day.

July 4th - Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th foolish mortals.  It has been nonstop fireworks here from about 10 am and still going strong at 10:30 pm.  I'll be happy when people finally get tired of them and stop cuz with Knott's Berry Farm just behind me, they're show shook my apartment. 

Getting ready for another short week and again we had Monday of, which I'm never happy about.  Now gotta fit 5 days of work into 4.  Oh well.  I am the man so I can handle it.

July 1st - Welcome to July

Well June is now a distant memory and here we are in July.  Also TBIF cuz it's been that kind of week.  Work is playing havoc but at least we got a 3 day weekend so we got that going for us...which is nice. 

What to do, what to do?  Got ideas but not gonna say anything cuz things always change.  Hope the weather stays nice though.

June 20th - Summer???

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are in another triple digit day in scorching SoCal.  It's currently a balmy 108 degrees.  And luckily we don't have the humidity that Florida does, it's still damn hot!!! 

Working again to keep the server room "cool enough".  Ah the humanity!!!
