June 22nd - Home!!!

June 22, 2025
Greetings, foolish mortals!!!  Today the BBP Is officially in his home. We closed Friday morning after numerous weeks of issues that kept popping up by the lender or someone who is just determined to stop us from buying this house. It was stressful, frustrating, aggravating, and so much more but luckily we saw it through And now have a home. Finished closing out the apartment today and unfortunately the office is closed on Sunday so I’m going to have to take my keys tomorrow after work. Today was my last day on my lease, so it was pushing it right to the edge of the limit . Got it done though and I am quite pleased with everything. Now the fun begins of unpacking and doing things that I want to and not worrying about putting a hole in the wall or anything like that. I’ve got so many plans and so many ideas that I want to do so now it’s just going to see if my budget and my finances will allow me to. 

That’s the update. That’s the big news. Hope everyone’s had a good weekend.

June 2nd - Welcome to hurricane season

Welcome foolish mortals to another hurricane season.  They've reported this is going to be more active than last year so we shall see as we got hit twice in a matter of weeks.  

Not really in the best of moods as my house buying has hit a last minute snag and really irritated me.  I'm dealing with that uncertainty and it's gotten me pretty pissed.

May 2nd - A house

Greetings foolish mortals.  Exciting news!!!

The BBP has bought a house!!!  Looked at a house yesterday, really liked it and submitted an offer.  It was an aggressive offer and showed the sellers I was serious.  Got a call from my realtor around 9:30 and he said I probably wouldn't mind him calling late for what he had to tell me.  My offer was accepted!!!  Wired the escrow over today and will begin the process with inspection and all that fun stuff.  Can't wait to be finally done with renting...

Welcome foolish mortals and welcome to May. Cant believe the year is almost half over and we’re closer to the haunt season. 

This is a busy time for the BBP. Work is ramping up and I’m getting more involved with everything. Also we are in the process of buying a house. Sometimes something hits you harder than you expect and causes all sorts of emotions, thoughts and feelings. That something happened on April 1st, 2025, when we lost Val Kilmer. Greetings foolish mortals And happy April Fools’ Day. we are now in the second quarter of 2025 and it’s just going faster and faster it seems.

April fools should be canceled because no amount of jokes or pranks could match the debacle that we have going on in this country right now. It’s embarrassing and very Disheartening I just wonder if we can survive the next almost 4 years.

March 17th - Happy St. Patrick's Day

Greetings foolish mortals and happy St. Patrick's Day!!!  14 years ago, I was in Dublin, Ireland, have an amazing time.  So much fun was had and so little sleep too.  There was too much to do to sleep.  The city is amazing and beautiful and so much fun and welcoming.  I highly suggest a trip there if you can.

Feb 2nd - A day for remembering

February 3, 2025
Today is not a normal day.  Today is a day of remembering the 2 year anniversary of my mother's passing.  It's been rough at times and I know it's been very hard on my father.  While I remember her and miss her I do know she is out of pain and has been keeping tabs on us all.

Love means never saying goodbye.
Love means it will all be alright.
Love means always seeing the good.
Love means never forgetting.
