Dec 4th - Goodbye November and hello December

Greetings foolish mortals.  We welcome you to the month and December and bid a fond farewell to November.  It's been a crazy busy 2 1/2 weeks but here we are.

Thanksgiving break was nice and was able to relax and recharge the batteries a bit.  Did some "Black Friday" shopping but didn't really see anything that caught my eye.  Really wasn't too impressed.  Saw a lot of things from the previous year at the same price so for all of you who think you're getting a great deal on new things, think again.

It is also time for Knott's Merry Farm and went the other night.  Was very nice as the weather was nice and cool and the lines weren't too bad for anything.  We had snowfall in Ghost Town and that was very cool.  Also went on a new ride, for me, and it was pretty cool, though it did me in.  It's a spinning pendulum called La Revolution.  Here's a pic:

It was pretty cool and I started feeling the G's pull at me once it got high.  Yeah, I'm not a spinning ride guy.  I'll take the coasters anytime.  Overall, good night.

Back to busy work here at work but it's gonna be a good week.  Chili cookoff Thursday and then party Friday.  Very nice indeed.

Nov 15th - Busy month

November 15, 2017
Greetings foolish mortals.  Wow!!!  This month is flying by and it's been a busy one at that.  Finished my move into a new place, closer to Disneyland and that's had me wore out, as well as my busy work days too.

Getting ready to officially break into the holiday season here, although most places have had Xmas stuff out and on display for a couple of months.  Irritating as all can be.

Nov 2nd - Welcome to November

November 2, 2017
Welcome foolish mortals.  This has been a pretty busy past few weeks so that's why I missed a few updates.  Been moving, storage, working and trying to maintain some sanity during all this time.  However, it's pretty much done and we're back now. 

So my favorite holiday is now past and we've only got 363 days left until next year.  While this year's date didn't mean much for me as I missed everything due to the move, the buildup was pretty nice and enjoyable.  Went to Knott's Scary Farms seve...

October 19th - Happy Anniversary

Greetings foolish mortals.  Well, it's been 2 years to the date that I started a new part in my life.  I have had the opportunity to work at perhaps my favorite position in almost eve.  I've been handed the keys to my position and have run with it, never looking back.  Have done a lot of impressive things over the past 2 years and most of them, I am very proud of.

October 1st - Happy Birthday

Greetings foolish mortals.  Welcome to October.  Before we continue, Happy 46th Birthday to Walt Disney World.  Epcot also turns 35 today. 

We are also in the beginnings of October and cruising during my favorite time.  Gonna give another update on Knott's Scary Farm in this so sit back and enjoy.

Sep 27th - A review for opening night

Greetings foolish mortals.  Welcome to another addition of the BBP.  Today, I got a review of what I've seen at Knott's Scary Farm so far and a couple of brief news too.

Went to Knott's last Thursday, their opening night and it was kind of crowded, though a lot of it was for media night.  Speaking of media night, I was able to park for free and save $20 but that's because I'm BFB!!!

Sep 21st - Here comes Fall

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are on the threshold to fall and I'm super excited.  The weather is changing, yes, we have a cool, rainy morning here in SoCal.  Awesomeness at it's finest!!!

Tonight is the opening of Knott's Scary Farm and I've got the scare pass so I can go every single night til Halloween.  I do plan on getting many visits in during that time and checking out all the haunts.  Going to be a 'Most Excellent" time.

Sep 11th - Thankful

Greetings foolish mortals.  I know today is September 11th and while the day holds certain meaning to me, it now holds even more...Thankfulness.

Yesterday, I sat by helplessly and watched Hurricane Irma hit my home state of Florida.  I'd seen the devastation that it left behind it in the Caribbean and could only hope for the best as she moved towards my hometown area of Tampa Bay.  Luckily, the Gulf Stream, the effect Cuba had on it or just nature, caused her to veer more eastern and instead ...

September 8th - A journey begins

Greetings foolish mortals.  Happy Friday and Happy September 8th.  While we're safe on the west coast of the US, my friends and family are preparing to deal with Hurricane Irma.  Sending positive vibes and thoughts over there and hope comes out well and unharmed.

September 1st - Welcome September
