May 2nd - Welcome to May

Greetings foolish mortals and welcome to May!!!  Here we are firmly planted in spring and summer is right around the corner.  It's been some weird weather out here in SoCal and I'm hoping, but doubting, that the summer isn't going to be too bad.

Still working on the site, trying to clean it up, make it more viable to the pages and adding more pics.  It's a work in progress hence the name Bill Bickford Project.  Originally, back in the 90's, I was considering the name Bill Bickford Corporation, however, I kind of like it being more of a Project because that is always in progress, hopefully.

On one bright side to all my themeing on this page, Phantom Manor, Disneyland Paris version of The Haunted Mansion has finally reopened after almost 2 years of being under refurbishment.  I was quite fortunate to be able to visit Disneyland Paris and ride Phantom Manor many, many times.  I'm hoping to go back there again one day soon and visit.  Here's a link to the new ride and also one to the old way.

April 24th - Work

Welcome foolish mortals!!!  Well, I've been doing some work on the site, trying to clean it up and make it a little easier to navigate.  I'm also doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make it easier for me to keep track of what I've been posting.  Maintaining a web site is not very easy, especially when you work full time plus at another job.  Now if this were my only job and I was getting paid for it, then I'd have no reason to miss posts or even have the site lagging in updates.  However...

April 15th - Halfway

April 15, 2019
Welcome foolish mortals.  Here we are, halfway through the month of April.  Can't believe how fast this month/year is going.  Seems we were just celebrating the new year and here we are in the middle of April.  Time sure flies when you get older.  I was just having a conversation about that in fact.  It's all relative to how old we are.

April 2nd - Welcome to April

Welcome foolish mortals.  Happy Day after April fools and welcome to April.  I seriously cannot believe how fast this year has flown by.  Here we are in Q2 and I haven't kept my word about more frequent updates.  I've just been super busy and had a lot going on.

Been taking care of pops and mom since he'd been unable to do anything really without assistance.  He'd been in the hospital for almost 2 months and during that time, lost a lot of time but thankfully, he's back now and doing better.  ...

March 1st - Welcome to March

March 1, 2019
Welcome foolish mortals...to March.  I can't believe it's already here and I had one, 1, uno post for Feb.  I really dropped the ball on that one but things had me so busy and tired.

Not really much to talk about today as it's another cloudy day in SoCal with rain all weekend.  Got a lot to do before week after next as I'm heading back to the "sunshine state."  We shall see if that remains the case cuz I know it's a rainforest too.

Feb 2nd - Happy Groundhog's day and birthday

Welcome to February.  I know, I've slacked on this already this year but I really have been swamped with work just overloading me.  The huge project is now done so I can relax.  So Happy Groundhog's Day and Happy Birthday to T.  

Hasn't really been a whole lot other than work going on.  One bit of good news is dad has been moved to rehab and is in the hometown area so that's good.  Much easier for mom to see him as he's much closer now.

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome foolish mortals to 2019.  I know it's a few days late but I've been busy with other things.  At least 2019 has started off decently.  Won't say great as we're awaiting to find out results about dad.  He's still fighting and going and our love and positive vibes go to him and mom and the family.  

We're still churning too and will continue to update this, more often this year and hopefully fill it with more pictures of places visited.

Dec 31st - Happy New Year's Eve!!!

Greetings foolish mortals and Happy New Year's Eve!!!  This is the last day of 2018 and it's been a rough one.  We've seen so many things happening this year that we were overwhelmed for much of the year.

Merry Christmas foolish mortals.  I know it's been a while since I've posted but it's been a very stressful and busy time.  I'm not just talking holidays either.  Been some personal issues, craziness at the job and some family issues.  Been stressful and tiring and we're still fighting to live another day.

Nov 1st - Welcome

November 1, 2018
Welcome foolish mortals to November.  Hard to believe we're here already.  I'm out of town in Colorado working and I missed Halloween.  Wasn't able to do anything so I was bummed about that.  Did manage to get snowed on though while I was here so I had that going for me...which was nice.  Otherwise, just posted a long review of Knotts Scary Farm. 

Hope everyone has a great start to November and also the soon to be holiday season kickoff.
