Mar 17th - Happy St. Patrick's Day

Welcome foolish mortals and top of the morning to ya!!!  Happy St. Patrick's Day.  Hope you toast up a Guinness in light of this holiday.  

Seems forever, but 10 years ago, the BBP was in Dublin, Ireland celebrating.  Was quite possibly some of the most fun times and memories I've had in a long time.  The streets and pubs were all crowded with partiers and much Guinness was consumed in a span of 3 days.  It was a much needed and welcomed trip from Afghanistan.  

And here we are on a cold morning here in SoCal but it's beautiful weather and things are looking up.  Mood is good, health is getting better and life just seems to be going well.  (Knocking on wood due to the Bickford curse)

March 1st - Welcome to March

Greetings foolish mortals.  I know.  It's been 28 days since I last edited this or added anything.  It's hard at times to just break away and wrote down my thoughts or the on goings throughout the days, weeks and month.  I've been so busy dealing with other things that I just lose track of this site at times.  I'll get reminders occasionally and think, I need to update, but then get distracted by something else.

Merry Christmas foolish mortals!!!  We've made it this far and the day is almost over.  Haven't been the most festive times this year as we've endured Covid.  I've only watched A Christmas Story maybe 1 time altogether.

Welcome foolish mortals...to December.  I know I didn't update last month.  Was so busy with so many things that I never really got to do much else then work.

Hopefully everybody had a nice Thanksgiving and had a little break too last week.  I was able to rest and relax a little.

Not sure how I feel about the holidays this year.  It's nice that they're here and maybe give a little diversion from the rest of this chaos going on but we shall see.

Nov 1st - Hello November

Welcome foolish mortals...to November.  Well, last night was Halloween and while I drove around and saw a few people out trick or treating, it was mostly a quiet, empty night.  I didn't do anything special as I would have normally would have been at Knott's Scary Farm.  I did decorate my office and had it looking pretty good.  Other than that, I really didn't recognize this year.

So here we are in another month and in a few days we will hopefully be electing a new president and get the ass clo...

Oct 15th - Midway

Greetings foolish mortals.  Here we are in the middle of the month and while I would normally be excited about tonight, it's Thursday and Knott's Scary Farm would be on my list of places to go, I'm not.  I've gotten used, I guess, to not doing anything this year.  It's been crazy and disappointing all at once.  We'll get through this but hoping it improves.

Welcome foolish mortals...to October.  A shout out to WDW and their 49th birthday.  Even though they're laying off a bunch of workers, hope the year gets better for them and they can rehire all those cast members back.
