Welcome foolish mortals to the end of 2025.  This will be the final blog for the year and hope that the new year is better and good to us all.

I have to say, it's been rough this year, with all the changes that have happened but we managed to survive.

We saw chaos brought into the country with the delusional person elected who instantly brought the country down...but this isn't about politics so let's get off them.

The BBP bought a house in the middle of the year and has been enjoying the benefits of owning a home while also suffering the benefits of owning a home.  Can't win either way.  You get out of an apartment where if something breaks, they fix it to owning a house and if it breaks, you pay to fix it or fix it yourself.  Of course, nothing that breaks is easy to fix so you most often call an expert.

The BBP also completed his first year working for the government, though with much stress and concern, and is kicking ass and taking names.  He got promoted as well as receiving high praise for his work on his current team.

Unfortunately, we also lost some good people this year. 3 of the top ones for me were Val Kilmer, Rob Rheiner and the one that has really impacted me the most, Adam the Woo.  Adam was a Youtube vlogger who traveled the country and most recently this year, parts of the world, and documented it all on camera.  He lived in California when I was there and actually lived just a few minutes away in Orange, CA, a small city in Orange County, while I lived over in Anaheim.  We both moved to the OC in 2015 and probably crossed paths a few times as he would film from the Orange Circle and I visited the area often.  Then in 2021, we both moved to Orlando, me to northeast Orlando and he to Celebration, a town that Disney built.  He had many catchphrases during his vlog consisting of:
Join me...shall you?
A piping hot, caffeinated beverage
There goes the monorail
Wearing an appropriate t-shirt
Thanks for watching...the vlog is now over
Adam returned from a European trip the week prior to Christmas and filmed several new vlogs, his last being uploaded on Dec 21st and then the news spread.  Adam had passed away on Dec 22nd, at home in bed.  He never woke up.  That hit me hardest of anyone else because I considered him a friend even though I only met him once, but he was that way.  He made you feel special, even for a brief 5 minute meet or chat.  Thank you Adam for being the one to welcome us to join you.  You shall be missed.

And for the rest of this blog to 2025, I simply say, farewell, goodbye and amen.  (Yes, I borrowed that from somewhere.  Do you know where?)

Until next time and next year...

BBP out!!!
