11/30 - The end of November

Well this was a long week.  After getting the news my grandfather passed away, kind of made this week a long one.  I ended up working the whole week and then some more on Saturday.  Have been dealing with stubborn servers but I'm hoping that I've gotten the issue taken care of and things should be on their merry way.  Fingers crossed.

The weather out here has been beautiful and I can't wait to further enjoy it.  Looks like we got our first snowfall up in the mountains too.

11/24 - Goodbye

The end of a generation has occurred this morning at 7:35. My grandfather, who recently turned 100, left this world. While I was never as close to him as I was grandmother, his loss shall be felt and I hope my parents, especially my father, have a chance to reflect and know that they did more for him than anyone else. Goodbye grandpa.

11/23 - Thanksgiving week

Hello all.  Been a few weeks since I've updated this part.  I used to say I was going to try to update it a couple of times a week and I believe I did for a while while I was in Germany, but here, things just aren't moving like they were there.  However, with the seasons coming and the weather, hopefully cooling, there will be more to do and places to go.  Plus, I'll make myself get out there more.  Been so focused on work these past few weeks as I'm trying to learn and get acclimated to the ...

11/2 - Welcome to November

Greetings all you foolish mortals!  We have survived another Halloween season and this year was quite interesting.  I managed to go to 3 "haunts" this year.  The first one was Horror Nights at Europa Park.  The second one was Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa and the final one was Knott's Scary Farm at Knott's Berry Farm.  They were all different and unique in their ways and designs.  I attempted to try to visit the Queen Mary Haunted Harbor but it was so crowded that I couldn't even get o...
